How handover works at Kraków Balice Airport
We arrive at the terminal of Kraków Balice Airport (John Paul II International Airport) at the agreed time. We arrange the place by phone, usually at the arrivals hall exit, and our driver calls you when they pull up.
The airport is in Zabierzów municipality, about 11 km from the centre of Kraków, right next to the A4 motorway. From the terminal you can head straight for Katowice, or take the ring road towards Zakopane, without entering the city.
The road to Katowice is a toll section of the A4, and towards the Tatras you take the Zakopianka road. If you are heading to the mountains in winter, ask about tyres when you book.
Delayed flight and evening arrival
If your flight is delayed, call us as soon as you see it in the airline's app. We move the handover free of charge if the new time falls between 8:00 and 22:00.
If you land after 22:00, the handover must be arranged in advance and costs extra. Alternatively, the train to Kraków Główny station takes about 17 minutes, and we can deliver the car to your hotel in Kraków in the morning.
Returning the car before your flight
We collect the car outside the terminal at the agreed time. If you picked it up in Kraków, select the return at Balice when you book, because a return to a different place than the pick-up carries an extra charge.

Can I return the car in another city?
Yes. Choose a different return place in the search form when you book, and it goes into the rental agreement. Changing the return place during the rental has to be agreed with us by phone.
How much is the deposit?
From 4,000 PLN for a city car such as the Škoda Fabia, 5,000 PLN for crossovers, estates and most SUVs, up to 10,000 PLN for large premium SUVs such as the Volvo XC90. The deposit equals the insurance excess. It is blocked on your card by pre-authorisation, not charged to your account.
Is there a mileage limit?
No. On short-term rentals no class has a mileage limit, so you drive as much as you need with no mileage charges. The only limit is in the Quanta Flex subscription: 2,500 km a month.
