Where we deliver in Kraków
To an address in any part of the city: Kazimierz, Podgórze, Krowodrza, Bronowice, Prądnik or Nowa Huta. We confirm the place and time by phone before the handover.
If you are staying in the Old Town, we will arrange delivery just outside the restricted traffic zone, because as a rule you cannot drive a rental car inside the Planty ring. Kraków Główny station is another popular choice.
We also deliver to towns near Kraków, such as Wieliczka, Skawina, Niepołomice or Zabierzów. We give you the delivery cost outside the city when you book.
Where to drive from Kraków
Most often to the Tatra Mountains and Podhale: Zakopane is about 100 km to the south. In winter, ask about tyres when you book.
On day trips: to Wieliczka, Ojców National Park or the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum in Oświęcim. The road to Katowice runs along a toll section of the A4 motorway.
Abroad: Slovakia is in Zone I, so you can drive there once you have our consent by email.

Questions about renting in Kraków
Do you have an office in Kraków?
No. We deliver the car to the address you give us in Kraków and confirm the exact spot by phone before handover.
What are your handover hours?
Every day from 8:00 to 22:00, including Saturdays and Sundays. Handover or return outside these hours is possible by prior arrangement, for an extra fee.
Can I drive a rental car into Kraków's Clean Transport Zone?
The Clean Transport Zone (SCT) has been in force since 1 January 2026 and covers about 60% of the city, roughly within the fourth ring road. Petrol cars meeting Euro 4 or built in 2005 or later, and diesels meeting Euro 6 or built in 2014 or later, may enter. A car registered in Poland is recognised automatically from the Central Vehicle Register (CEP), so there is nothing to register. The A4 motorway and the S7 expressway are not part of the zone.
Can I drive into the Old Town and up to a hotel by the Main Square?
As a rule, no. The area inside the Planty ring, the approaches to Wawel and the area around Plac Nowy in Kazimierz are restricted traffic zones marked with the B-1 sign (a white circle with a red border: no vehicles allowed). The exemption for hotel guests has been removed from the signs. If you are staying in this part of the city, arrange for the car to be delivered to a place outside the zone.
When do I pay for parking in central Kraków?
Since 31 January 2026, subzone A is paid every day, Sundays included, 9:00-22:00. Subzones B and C are paid Monday to Saturday during the same hours. Parking is free on most public holidays. You can pay at a parking meter or in a mobile app.
How far is Kraków Balice Airport from the centre?
About 11 km. By car it takes around 25 minutes, and the train to Kraków Główny station takes about 17 minutes. We deliver the car to the terminal at Balice, so you can set off as soon as you have your luggage. If you are going into the city first, we can also deliver the car to your hotel or to Kraków Główny station.
Can I return the car in another city?
Yes. Choose a different return place in the search form when you book, and it goes into the rental agreement. Changing the return place during the rental has to be agreed with us by phone.
How much is the deposit?
From 4,000 PLN for a city car such as the Škoda Fabia, 5,000 PLN for crossovers, estates and most SUVs, up to 10,000 PLN for large premium SUVs such as the Volvo XC90. The deposit equals the insurance excess. It is blocked on your card by pre-authorisation, not charged to your account.
Is there a mileage limit?
No. On short-term rentals no class has a mileage limit, so you drive as much as you need with no mileage charges. The only limit is in the Quanta Flex subscription: 2,500 km a month.
